      It is a real pleasure to have this opportunity to meet with our customers and friends in Korea and around the world. Since Kyung-In was established in 1971 as a manufacturer of dyestuff, a business that formed the basis of the fine chemical industry in Korea, it has continued to record substantial growth by virtue of unreserved support and patronage given us by our customers. Today, it is a well-recognized company in the dyestuff industry at home and abroad. I must admit that our growth is also due to the devotion and hard work of all the members of the Kyung-In family under the management principle which is based on the respect of humans, technology and workmanship.

        From the start, Kyung-In made extensive investments in the training of researchers and development of technology by establishing the Central Research and Development Institute at the head office and R&D facility at each factory. These efforts enabled us to elevate the standards of our R&D personnel and facilities to be on a par with those of the world's leading dyestuff companies. We obtained ISO 9002 Certificate of Quality Assurance from Lloyd's Register Q.A. of the United Kingdom, and have been conducting thorough quality control of our products. The result is that today, the high-quality of Kyung-In products is recognized in Korea and in all parts of the world.

        On the strength of utilization of technology, productivity, and quality, Kyung-In became the first company in Korea to develop and supply cost-effective and environment-friendly dyestuff to the textile, fur, detergent and paper industries, thereby playing a central role in the development of these industries. Kyung-In is currently exporting approximately 70 percent of its products to overseas markets, while contributing to facilitating Korea's economic development.

        Kyung-In is a public corporation listed on the Korea Stock Exchange, strictly adhering to the rules and ethics set forth by the Corporate Charter. As in the past, Kyung-In promises to continue all efforts in taking a leading position in development of energy saving, environment-friendly dyes that will not only benefit Kyung-In, but the community as well. Through the continuing practice of employee-input management, Kyung-In will further develop into a "human respecting, technologically advanced" dyestuff company that will move forward into the 21st Century.
